Not a bad sim at all. Keep up the good work, Zev, you're almost back to your 2004-2007 excellent streak in simming.

And gee, Zev. Without that 2-11 start you'd be what 18-5 now? That's a .782 winning percentage. How 'bout that?
 

You're a game up on me, which can swing in a day. I've had major injuries each sim, but I'm not whining about them (starting 2B, setup reliever, and then the replacement reliever).

I just built my team with a lot of depth, and can weather these injuries. So, if I lost my stud 1B (Jeon), his replacement has an OPS of .835 (in limited action, I'll grant you).

Or, are you just bitter I'm not matching your projection to lose 95 games. Only 83 to go!
 

Well, despite Zev spanking me three straight at the end of the sim, I still went 7-4 and extended my overall lead from 7 to 8 games, so I can't complaint too much. I also note for the record that Zev's torrid stretch since the first sim has gained him exactly one game on me in the standings (10 down to 9).

I know nobody is going to have any sympathy for me on this, but Alberto Granado is actually going backwards in recovering from his injury. He started the sim being 3-4 weeks from playing. During the sim, I got TWO separate emails from the team doctor saying that he isn't recovering as fast as hoped and is expected to be injured an additional 14 days. He's now out another 5-6 weeks. He gained 4 weeks of injury time in a two week sim. That just sucks.
