So much for your brief sojourn into 2nd place, huh, Michael?

Also, Zev - a note - it looks like not all the reports are updated, some (for example my team page) still say 7/22. The file's ok, though.

So much, indeed. This shall be an interesting offseason for trading, I foresee.

Anyway, how about these three nominees for Game of the Sim:

1. On the first day of the sim, Danville shellacked Wendell Sorg and the rest of my Scorpions team 21-5. Bill Mastrangelo set/tied a ZL record with 5 hits. My own Ricky Peppers had four hits, but it was hardly enough. Poor Troy Nelson took one for the team, giving up nine earned runs in two innings, but that's nothing compared to what Wendell Sorg did: Eight runs, seven hits, a walk, and only one batter out. His game score was -4.

2. Fortunately, my team bounced back the following day. Jeffrey Shuttleworth pitched a complete game 2-hitter against Danville. His game score was 86, which was the of the year.

3. Then, over in the junior circuit, Brooklyn and Houston used sixteen pitchers to play a 20-inning marathon on August 1st. Houston won the game 4-3, as Brooklyn reliever Daniel Hosmer tired in his sixth inning of relief. Houston's Steffen Gehring also got five hits in the game, but he needed 11 more innings than Bill Mastrangelo had in his 5-hit game.

Yep, you're right Paul. I'll re-upload the files tonight.

Aw...poor Michael. Sorry you decided not to take all my prospects now?

Nah. At least, not at the cost for them. I still have five more seasons with Peppers, and I think I'll use/need them.

Went 11-3. Outscored the opposition 93-34. I'll take it.

Now, if Trevor's team could just fade quietly into the rear view mirror, like Zev's has, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I hope you noticed, Mack and Trevor, that Trevor is one game back.

Mack went 9-1 in his last 10.
Trevor went 7-3 in his last 10.

That means that 11 games ago Trevor was up by a game on Mack.
