This Time, It's Seattle Turn For The Late-Inning Victory
On Friday, the Monarchs took revenge.
Seattle took their turn with the late-inning heroics, jumping on Paddlewheeler pitching for nine runs between the sixth and eighth innings. River Cities held a slim 3-2 lead going into the sixth inning, when Seattle batters pounded out four hits against starter Juan Villatoro and John Miller. Seattle added another two on a two-run homer by Gregory Mudge in the next inning and added one more in the eighth.

Game 4 - Seattle @ River Cities --Thursday evening. Sunday morning.
(My goof, I forgot that it was already Thursday night)

River Cities loses! Seattle shows signs of life!
This might actually be an interesting Cup, after all.

Well, it's not a welcome development. But it's better than last year when Mack took game one and had me on the ropes. We'll see how things work from here.
Well, at least I won't get swept and at least Chad Nelligan will get one more chance to take the hill. That's good.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to note that the run differential for the series is now 17-14 in favor of Seattle. I assume Nate will be conceding that I should be leading 2-1 and will retroactively forfeit Game 2 to make reality match theory.
Awfully nice of him, when you think about it.
